The Knitsterhood of the Travelling Sock: the story so far

The Knitsterhood of the Travelling Sock: the story so far. Born on 15 June in @wildandwoollyshop to celebrate the start of the #summersockskal, this month-old #sockling has visited friends in Nottingham and Birmingham, and is now 50 rows high. It will develop its very first heel! This is likely to happen in #Paris on the 28th, when it will tag along for a combined #4plycooperativeontour and #summersockskal meetup. Thank you to its most recent knitters: @chrismac56, @mackles01, @pokedagoblin, @justknitmycupoftea, @ruth_crafts, @heckythump1, @the_ellipsissy and @sylvie_labellevie, who have given you 2 rows each and a #Yarningham accent. After Paris, #FibreEast! Though via a human courier rather than Royal Mail. Why o why a travelling sock? Because it is fun, and we like it. I hope you get to meet it this summer, and help it grow — more details of the meetups are in the Summer Socks Kal group on Ravelry. #knitter #knitsterhood #travellingsock #sock #sockontour #stripeysock #scrappysock #happysock #toohotforsockstoday #butnotforknitting #sweatbandsforfingers #isthatathing
